Who we are

Welcome to Meandhertravel! Get it? Me and her. Meander. We are Tony and Julie and we were high school sweethearts that have been married for 30 years. We have a passion for travel, for researching off-the-beaten path adventures, and finding experiences and events that make travel so much more rewarding and memorable. We started this podcast/website to share our stories, trips, and tips, with family, friends and fellow travel junkies! If we can bring some joy to your today or to your next trip, then we are happy!

In addition, we are in the process of becoming location independent. (It’s been a slow process as we have a four bedroom house, two boomerang young adult daughters and a healthy twelve year old dog) but we would love to travel a whole lot more and not be tied down to a J.O.B. As we are not ready or able to retire yet, it should be an interesting process! So, come along with us as we try to figure out how to make money on the fly as we chase our dreams around the world!
